Count macarons and map the arrangement
Measure the widest macaron and its full height, including filling or decoration. If you sell mixed flavours or colours, list the count of each and the quantity of each assortment so the internal layout can be reviewed.
Give decorated shells room to travel and display
Explain whether the box is used at a bakery counter, as a gift or for an order that will be shipped. If you need individual cups, a divider, a window or space for a note, include that in the brief; none is assumed to come with every box. Provide the packed weight and any handling requirement, but do not assume the carton has a tested crush or transit rating.
Confirm food-contact details before print
Say whether macarons touch the board, a printed surface or a separate liner. FSA guidance covers packaging materials, printing inks and adhesive labels intended to contact food. Provide artwork and approved product wording, then ask for the exact board, coating and print details to be confirmed for the planned use.
