Measure the card and the way it is presented
Clarify whether the box is for a payment card, a gift card, a membership card or another card format. Provide the card’s length, width and thickness, how many go in each box and whether a sleeve, carrier or folded information card is included. If you are packaging a set, describe the order in which the pieces should sit.
Keep the insert and opening useful
Explain how the recipient should remove the card and whether you need a pull tab, divider or space for a message. These are requests to assess, not features included by default. Send the quantity, design versions and artwork, then review the proof against the exact contents and internal dimensions.
Treat card-data security as a separate requirement
A presentation carton is not a security control for payment information and does not prevent card misuse. Avoid placing real card numbers or personal data in artwork, and state any approved wording or branding the box should carry. The quote confirms the agreed physical construction, print, price and timing—not financial security or fraud protection.
