Understand the auto-bottom and lid together
Describe what the box will hold and how it will be filled. Give the product dimensions, unit count and filled weight, then note whether staff or customers will open the display lid. If you have a preferred base, lid or opening style, include a sketch or sample to clarify it.
Plan the display opening for the real product
Show which side faces the customer and what should remain visible when the lid is open or closed. Mention any divider, window or artwork panel you want considered. The auto-bottom construction and display opening should be reviewed as one format against the product and intended use, not assumed from the name alone.
Measurements and artwork for the die-line
- Product dimensions, quantity and filled weight
- How the box is filled and set up
- Display position and customer access
- Window, lid, divider and print requirements
- Artwork versions, quantity and delivery postcode
Confirm assembly and shelf fit with a sample
Request a drawing or sample showing the base, lid and product together. Check how it opens, what remains visible and whether the finished dimensions suit the display location. Review artwork and confirm the agreed construction, print and order terms before production.
