Decide whether the carton holds tea bags or an inner pouch
Tea can be packed as individual bags, sachets or loose leaf inside a separate pouch or tin. That distinction affects the internal layout and the material information that should be checked; the outer carton is not automatically an airtight or freshness barrier.
Measure the retail arrangement
Provide the inner pack dimensions, the number of units per carton and how they should sit. If you sell several flavours, sizes or seasonal designs, list each quantity separately and note whether the artwork changes by variety. Include a divider, leaflet or display requirement only if you need it, so the proposed construction can be checked against the actual pack-out.
Prepare product wording and artwork separately
Supply the final product copy and artwork approved by the responsible tea business. If the box or its printed surfaces may contact tea, state that use so the material, inks and any coating can be reviewed. FSA guidance covers packaging and printing inks used with food; the quote should identify the agreed construction and print rather than assuming suitability from the word tea.
