Identify where and how the products will be displayed
Include the product count, individual dimensions and filled weight. If staff will replenish the display, describe how stock is loaded and which sides need to remain accessible.
Design access and facing around the product
Show the intended front, top and side views, then mark any tear-away panel, window or divider you would like considered. Provide the product codes and artwork versions that need separate presentation. The suitable construction and access points depend on the actual product and fixture, so request confirmation before the artwork is final.
Notes for a retail-display packaging brief
- Product dimensions, number per display and filled weight
- Counter, shelf or fixture location
- Customer access and staff-replenishment method
- Window, opening, divider or print request
- Artwork, quantity and delivery postcode
Review the assembled display before sign-off
Ask for a drawing or sample that shows the display in its intended position with the products loaded. Check visibility, access and replenishment, and confirm the product information and artwork on each panel. Agree the final construction, print, quantity and order terms in writing.
