Pack the pad in the shape you actually sell
Include the thickness, surface type and any raised wrist rest or stitched edge that changes the packed size. If the box will also hold a cable, leaflet or other accessory, provide those dimensions too.
Choose a carton for retail or dispatch
A box displayed in a shop and one used for an online order may need different openings and presentation. Explain the sales route, how customers should access the pad and whether you need room for a printed insert. Send the logo, gaming or office range artwork and the product codes that should appear on each version.
Details to include with the mouse-pad brief
- Flat or rolled packed dimensions and thickness
- Edge, wrist-rest or accessory details
- Retail display, promotional or dispatch use
- Artwork files and product-code variants
- Quantity per design and delivery postcode
Approve the pack-out before print
Request confirmation of the internal size and chosen construction against the actual mouse pad. Review a drawing or sample if the surface must remain flat or the pack has several components. Confirm the board, print, finish, quantity, price and timing in the written specification.
