Work from the packed coffee product
Measure the filled pack, including its closure, and give the quantity and weight. Be clear whether the box is secondary packaging or could contact coffee directly; the material should be considered for its actual use.
Separate brand panels from product information
Share the logo and artwork, then list the approved coffee name, roast or blend, grind, pack weight, barcode and other copy from your food team. Identify the front panel and keep each design version distinct. A proof should be checked against the actual pack so layout, wording and barcode position can be reviewed together.
Details that make a coffee-box quote useful
- Filled bag, jar or pod-pack dimensions
- Pack quantity, weight and closure details
- Outer carton or possible direct-contact use
- Roast, grind, code and artwork versions
- Quantity by design and delivery postcode
Review each coffee variant against its sealed pack
Provide final artwork and approved copy for each blend or pack size. Check that the right version is shown and that information is readable at print size. FSA guidance says food information should be clear, easy to read, visible and not misleading. Confirm food-contact requirements where relevant and agree the format and order terms in writing.
