Define the carton’s place in the medicine pack
Provide the complete packed dimensions, including any leaflet, tray or accessory, and state the quantity of units in each box. A product name alone does not establish the carton’s role or required construction.
Start from approved artwork, not draft copy
For medicines sold in the UK, MHRA guidance says packaging and labelling information is subject to approval. Obtain the current approved text, symbols, codes and layout requirements from the marketing authorisation holder or responsible regulatory team before sending artwork. The packaging supplier can quote the physical specification and print brief; this page does not certify a medicine pack or approve its label.
Match the layout to the exact pack components
List the leaflet size, container dimensions, orientation and any variable data or print areas that must be accommodated. Note the number of pack versions and quantity per version, then provide the delivery postcode. Keep approval of the final wording and proof with the responsible medicine team; the quote confirms the agreed carton, print, price and timing.
