Fit the box to the sweet and its wrapper
Measure each candy as it will be packed, including a wrapper, cup or small inner bag that stays with it. Give the count per box and note if the pieces vary in size. For a gift assortment, list the number of each type and the intended arrangement so the internal space can be reviewed against the actual mix.
Set out a mixed assortment clearly
Say whether the box is for a single flavour, a selection of sweets or a retail multipack. If you want separate sections, an insert, a window or room for a product card, include it as a request rather than assuming it comes with the carton. Provide the filled-pack weight and explain whether it will be sold at a counter or included in an order for delivery.
Specify contact surfaces before artwork
FSA guidance covers materials intended to contact food and notes that inks and adhesive labels can be relevant. Send the approved product wording and artwork, then ask for the exact board, finish, quantity, price and timing to be confirmed in the quote.
